Image Editing with the GIMP

No previous experience of using The GIMP is necessary.

Ray will lead a session which will cover the basics of working with images, including resizing, adjusting colour and contrast, retouching, and convertng between different image formats. There will also be a section on creating graphics from scratch. If time allows we'll have a look at some of the plugins available for The GIMP (eg edge detection, buttonising), drawing tablets, batch processing, and maybe a look at some alternatives to using The GIMP.
