In the first of what may become a short series on working with the GIMP we'll start with the typical processes used in processing digital photos for use on websites etc.  So we'll cover the correction of typical defects like the horizon not level, perspective too exaggerated, over or under exposed images, poor colour balance and so on.  We'll also cover image resizing and the variuos options when saving files and look at some of the other more creative things GIMP can do with images.
