November Meeting (Meeting Archive 2017)

The meeting on 29th November 2017 is on the topic Ubuntu 17.10 and troubleshooting hardware.

This meeting we'll take a look at the latest version of Ubuntu with its default Gnome desktop and share our experience on troubleshooting hardware problems.

Ubuntu 17.10 is a good indication of what the next long term support (LTS) version of Ubuntu will be like.  Unity will still be available, but is no longer being developed by Canonical and the latest version of Ubuntu now comes with a mildly customised version of the Gnome desktop.  It works rather well on a touchscreen too.

We'll also spend time sharing knowledge on how we identify and resolve hardware problems.
